Whether training for competition himself or training others utilizing the correct diet and work outs so they may either compete or simply look and feel their best, the current body building scene is being patterned by the expertise of Derek Perdue. Derek is a fitness and nutrition enthusiast. Over the last 15 years, Derek took his drive, motivation, and talent to challenge himself physically and mentally inside and outside of the gym. Although Derek grew up riding motocross, playing soccer, playing football, and running track, his true passion was playing college/junior level hockey.
Currently Derek enjoys competing at the national level in the NPC Men’s Physique division. Through his driving force in nontraditional training, he is dedicated to fulfilling his clients’ wants and needs in reaching their full physical training. He completely understands the challenges that come with reaching one’s fitness and nutritional goals, and he focuses on taking away any and all obstacles that will prevent their success.
One key component of Derek’s workouts, on himself and with his clients, is insistence on maintaining a correct diet. When Derek was training himself he noticed he lost steam or became fatigued, so he began research and experimentation on minerals. The findings were that after losing certain minerals the body cannot naturally replace them on its own. So, he replaced the minerals he knew he was losing, and he was instantaneously recharged. He is now expert in his field in understanding what the body requires under stress and under load, and each and every client working with him is given very specific specifications on what their individual requirements are, as each body has different requirements after what is lost under load, through sweat and exertion. Derek Perdue’s diets are proven effective and do the job, or more research is done on each individual until they feel good and maintain stamina.
Derek holds himself to the highest standards, and passes this on to his clients. He holds them accountable and ensures they receive the results of the goals they lay out at the beginning of their program.
Some of the current clients Derek has the pleasure of training is Mrs. Nevada USA, Lavetta Schneider. Another is fitness icon and professional figure competitor, Larissa Reis. The current Men’s Jr. National Champion, CJ Griffith is also being trained by Derek, and there are several other notable professionals, and amateurs as well. Derek is available as a trainer as his schedule allows, and does have a team of trainers who are trained precisely in the workout methods of Derek Perdue and can be made available upon request. Derek personally oversees all of the programs that are delivered to each client, and most importantly, Derek will personally write all diets that accompany the training programs.
